The TDG Clinical Framework — including all clinical pattern hierarchies, functional reference ranges, cross-test conflict resolution logic, and protocol sequencing systems. The Metabolic Nature Classification System — including the six Metabolic Nature names (Kinetic, Grounded, Catalyst, Endurance, Adaptive, Calibrated), their associated clinical frameworks, nutritional guidance, and assessment methodology. The Five Fat Loss Resistance Pattern System. The Neurodivergent Biochemical Cluster Framework. All assessment tools, questionnaires, intake forms, and clinical analysis tools on the Detective Health platform. All written content, clinical frameworks, scoring algorithms, and reference range libraries on detective-health.com. The Test, Don't Guess methodology, branding, and associated clinical documentation.
2. Permitted Use
You may access and use the Detective Health website and its publicly available tools for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may share links to pages on detective-health.com. You may quote brief passages (fewer than 50 words) from this website for commentary or review purposes, provided clear attribution to Stephen Duncan and detective-health.com is included.
3. Prohibited Use
The following are expressly prohibited without prior written consent from Stephen Duncan Nutrition:
- Reproducing, copying, or distributing any clinical framework, scoring system, reference range library, or assessment tool from this platform in any form
- Using any content, clinical logic, or assessment methodology from this platform to develop competing tools, software, or services
- Screenshotting, downloading, or otherwise capturing clinical logic, reference ranges, or pattern libraries for commercial or commercial-adjacent purposes
- Presenting any element of the TDG Clinical Framework, Metabolic Nature Classification System, or associated methodologies as your own work
- Incorporating any proprietary clinical content from this platform into training data for artificial intelligence systems
- Practitioner licensees reproducing, sublicensing, or sharing the clinical framework outside the scope of their specific licensing agreement

The Detective Health platform and all associated tools are educational and informational resources. They do not constitute medical advice, medical diagnosis, or medical treatment.
The TDG programme is a functional medicine investigation, not a medical treatment. It works alongside conventional medical care and is not a substitute for it. Nothing on this website, in any tool, or in any communication from Stephen Duncan or Detective Health should be taken as a replacement for advice from your GP, consultant, or other qualified medical professional.

Functional reference ranges used in the TDG platform are derived from published research and clinical practice. They differ from NHS laboratory reference ranges, which are population-based. Functional ranges represent optimal physiological function as identified in peer-reviewed literature, not diagnostic thresholds for disease.
5. Neurodivergence and Mental Health Disclaimer
The Detective Health Neurodivergent Biochemical Screen and associated clinical tools do not diagnose ADHD, autism, or any other neurodevelopmental or mental health condition. These tools investigate biochemical patterns that may contribute to neurodivergent symptom presentations. They are not a substitute for formal clinical assessment by a qualified ADHD or autism specialist.
If you are currently under the care of a mental health professional, psychiatrist, or clinical psychologist, please discuss any functional medicine investigation with them before acting on findings.
6. Platform Access and Practitioner Gate
Access to the TDG Practice Portal and practitioner-facing clinical tools is restricted to authorised practitioners. Unauthorised access attempts, sharing of access credentials, or use of practitioner tools by non-practitioners is prohibited. Practitioner access is conditional on agreement to confidentiality and appropriate clinical use standards communicated at the time of access.
7. Data and Privacy
Intake forms submitted through the Detective Health platform are received securely by Stephen Duncan at Stephen Duncan Nutrition. Data is used solely for the purpose of clinical assessment and is not shared with third parties. For questions about how your data is stored and used, contact stephen@detective-health.com.
This site uses no advertising, no third-party tracking beyond basic analytics, and no data is sold to any party.
